GamStop
GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme for UK-licensed online gambling. Signing up blocks you from every UKGC-licensed site for six months, one year or five years. Enrolment takes about five minutes at gamstop.co.uk. Once registered, the exclusion cannot be lifted before the period ends.
GamStop only covers sites licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. Casinos licensed offshore – the subject matter of much of our coverage – are outside its scope. That gap is well documented and one of the main reasons players in self-exclusion sometimes end up on non-GamStop sites. If you are actively in recovery, self-exclusion at the payment-method level (Gamban blocker software, bank-level gambling blocks from Monzo, Starling, Barclays and others) is the additional layer to consider.
Gambling blocker software

Warning signs
Signs that gambling is becoming a problem include: gambling for longer than intended; chasing losses; feeling anxious or irritable when you cannot gamble; hiding losses from family; borrowing to gamble; missing work, school or family commitments because of gambling. Age restriction
